Correction of permanent makeup

If there is an opportunity to prepare for any event – why not do it? Unfortunately, we usually start thinking when, and only when, we are lost. But most of the time it is already too late to fix something… Correcting permanent makeup can serve as an example of such a situation. It is much better not to make such a mistake than to correct everything afterwards. But if you didn’t manage to be careful, then you should at least know what procedures await you at the beauticians. Any permanent make-up correction procedure depends on the mistake made during the make-up process. The most common variants are.

Dark lip liner

This means that either a tattoo machine designed for body tattooing was used (it injects the pigment much deeper than necessary), or the master injected too much pigment and did not follow the recommended tactics. In each of these cases, there is only one solution to the problem – to use a special remover. Remuveris is a substance that, together with pigment particles, gradually comes to the surface during the crusting process. In addition, it is very difficult to completely remove the pigment from the skin. But in this case, the remover can be used only around the edge, but the pigmentation itself must be corrected during some color correction procedures. The meaning of color correction procedures is that some additional pigments are introduced which make the color of the eyelets more even.

Uneven loop

This is one of the more gross mistakes. It is most often found among masters who have little work experience, but it also happens among experienced masters. In this case, it is more efficient to create a new drawing, and only then start correcting the defects of the existing permanent makeup. The permanent make-up correction technique depends on where exactly the area with defects is located.  If we are talking about small areas, for example artificial birthmarks, then the camouflage technique could be applied. The master chooses a pigment corresponding to the color of the client’s skin and injects it into the area that needs to be corrected. But this method works only on small defects and does not last very long. But if the defect area is wide, then only laser removal of the make-up can help. The high-frequency laser directly destroys the pigment particles, which are removed from the body together with lymph and blood. But such a procedure damages the skin, so it is strictly forbidden to use such a technique earlier than 6-8 weeks.

Color too dark

This does not always mean a master error. It happens that this is a consequence of the interaction of natural pigments. Often micropigmentation results are unpredictable. It also happens that the drawing comes in darker than desired. Here, the only normal correction method is color correction. The master chooses, depending on the conditions, lighter or darker pigments, injects them into the skin and thus makes it either lighter or darker. It is not difficult, but the skin will still deteriorate and will need proper care.

Formation of spots

Spots are most often found in the outer edges of the eyes because the skin in that area is very thin and poorly holds pigments. Therefore, the pattern was not formed in loops, but flows out in a spot. Of course, you can inject pigments at the level of the dermis, but this is even more harmful. Laser technologies are most often used in this area to correct permanent makeup. Why? Because the “camouflage” technique does not work here, but the binding pigments will be very harmful to the skin. Therefore, only the laser remains. In addition, it will not be possible to remove all the pigment during one session: you will have to undergo 5-10 procedures with a mandatory interval of 6-8 weeks. But then the pigment will be completely removed.

Scars

This is the most difficult case, because a scar also means the presence of a deep lesion of the skin and an abnormal growth of connective tissue. Appears either after multiple harmful effects on the same skin area, or as a result of inflammations that were further aggravated by improper skin care after procedures. It will not be possible to completely correct the connective tissue defect, tom anomalous growth can be removed by delicate grinding of the injured area. It will not remove the cause, but the consequences will be less significant. Dear Ladies, as you have already understood, correcting permanent makeup is a long, unpleasant and expensive procedure. Therefore, it is recommended to anticipate all unpleasantness and check the masters you are going to see in advance. And if the chosen craftsman is a professional, then he will offer the most optimal solution to problems as a result of identifying errors and even give a discount on correction services. Of course, professionals care a lot about their reputation and are not going to damage it even as a result of accidents.
